Arkane's Harvey Smith promises "more verticality" to the game, and the gameplay footage shows much larger worlds. The environment also appears to play a larger role in Dishonored 2. The entire game can be completed with zero kills, for devotees of stealth gaming. Corvo and Emily can teleport through space - called Blinking - to navigate the world, and use a variety of weapons and powers to tackle enemies. Developer Arkane Studios is retaining the trademark 'supernatural stealth' of the original game. Set 15 years after the original Dishonored, players will now have a choice of controlling the returning protagonist Corvo Attano or daughter Emily Kaldwin, empress of the fictional Dunwall.Īfter Emily is usurped by an otherworldly invader, the game sees Emily follow in her father's path, becoming an assassin in order to regain her throne. The first gameplay for Dishonored 2 was also revealed, following the game's announcement at last year's E3. The revamped Prey bears little resemblance to the original game though, so it will be interesting to see where Bethesda goes with what it clearly wants to be a new franchise. Developed by Dishonored's Arkane Studios, the game is set in the near-future, where a colonisation mission appears to have gone horribly wrong. Prey - rather than the expected Prey 2 - was introduced, a ground-up remake of the original concept.
Bethesda also confirmed the Fallout: Shelter mobile game will be coming to PC, and both PC and mobile versions will see new enemies to battle and new features. More expansions for Fallout 4 were also confirmed, with the Contraptions add-on coming next week, offering more crafting opportunities, and the Vault-Tec experiments pack to follow in July, allowing you to test weird science on your shelter inhabitants. The expansion will be launching this autumn. That allows players to explore the entire fictional world of Tamriel and play with other players of higher levels, without needing to spend hours level grinding. Aimed at making the expansive game more accessible, it will see all characters automatically levelled to any area of the game. The massively multiplayer online game will also be getting an update called One Tamriel.
